Screen flickers due to resolution set too high.
Cause:
The desktop resolution is set too high. This may cause the screen to flicker.
Solution:
Double-click the 'Display' icon in 'Control Panel' and move the slider bar on the 'Settings' tab to the left to display less desktop.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Drag the 'Desktop area' slider bar all the way to the left.
NOTE: This decreases the size of the desktop.
6) Click 'Apply'. (A 'Display Properties' dialog box appears confirming the size change process.)
7) Click 'OK'.
8) Click 'Yes' to enable settings.
